How should a Catholic institution articulate its default stance toward generative AI use? What belongs in a student handbook? What do leaders need to communicate to staff about data privacy and responsible use? In this webinar, Lewis will unveil the latest HPL templates for generative AI policies and guidelines designed specifically for K–12 Catholic schools and (arch)dioceses.
These templates are intended to support school-level leaders and diocesan administrators in forming a coherent AI governance suite grounded in clarity, accountability, and Catholic educational mission. The session will include example AI Use Scales to guide appropriate student use, recommendations for implementation, and additional resources on AI policy. Participants will leave with adaptable templates and a clearer understanding of how to move from conversation to governance.
